remember you are hitting from nearly 200 yrds..... over a 100 yrds a drop of 29 ft will give me an extra 14 or 15yrds....over 185 200 its going to be more.... nearly double....in my crazy workings anywho...:P

    plus or minus whatever else

Hit an i15 hybrid at 85% power off the back tee into 8 at BPB with flag at the back (approx 220 yards) and the ball carried 245 yards!  The wind was across, slightly against if anything but only at about 8 mph.  After the first time it happened I thought I had accidently hit my driver, but exactly the same thing happened again today. Maybe it's only when the flag is at the back of the green as I can't re-collect a problem when the flag is on the front?  On this basis I should be able to hit my 6 iron 220 yards on this hole (will try it next time). Obviously something is wrong with the physics here.

Edit: happens when flag is at the front too

The problem is worse on the back pin, which to me seems to indicate the elevation may be off, or perhaps it's just difficult to figure out the proper ball flight when hitting a low-lofted club to such a downward elevation.

I guess I'll dial it in after a dozen rounds or so. But that elevation can't be right.

Ok now it's happened to me at front and back pin.  Just had the back pin one.  218 yds to hole, cross wind at 8.  I hit my 215 club at 85%, it flew 250 yds!  Into the deep rough.  Very silly.  This hole needs sorting fast!

yep i had a 4I rated for 200 fly 242 without bouncing into back bunker.   Craziness!  It seems front pin still plays 175 from legend tees, maybe next time i try the old distance on back pin.

    Cheers

Played wk 37 18 single. At BB#8 wind was 7 @ 9 o' clock. Distance 225' (or so) elev -29'.  Hit a dinged 210' 3 iron full backspin. The ball flew 245 straight into the back bunker. Cost me a bogey and possibly the RC qualification.

Just played the back pin location for the first time (222 I think) with a 8 mph headwind. Hit it 200 and got it within 6 feet or so. On the front pin ( 196 ) I tried 175  but even that went 15 feet past the hole, but that's as close as I've been LOL.

I just played #8 from the black tees, front pin said 196, into a 10 wind, played it as the old pin from blues (186) so I hit 184 and was 14 feet past.    I agree something ain't Kosher with  the yardage, the elevation is only 3 ft different between black and blue tees.

Just played it 4 the first time at the back pin location. Same result 4 me...bunkertime... 13 yds passed by. Shot a 3i/210 yds, halve backspin. wind was 9 @ 10 o'clock.

This afternoon I had another shot at the frontpin location. Wind was 10 @ 2 o'clock. Used my 5i/175yds. Hit it full with topsspin and it went just past the hole (about 5 ft). This is exactly the way I've played it from the white tees (183 yds).

So my guess is that there's a program bug and that white- and blacktees are the same distance in the program and they forgot (?) 2 program the extra yardages 4 the blacktees........

    Hey guys,

This is a known issue that will be resolved with our next maintenance update...

...in the meantime, watch out for that bunker.
