Watch this and tell me that the ball should have dropped, please.  This was for my best round ever.  I was -5 on the back 9 tourny going for -6 on hole 18.  You could have imagined my disappointment every time I watched the replay.  :(

Yeah that stinks, but if I had a dime for everytime that happened to me I would be a rich girl. They have tempered those lipouts since the first few versions. I think they have them pretty right on now. Just like the real course, you have to deal with the bad breaks, but you'll get some good breaks also.

Between lip outs and the pin action, I would love to know where the good breaks happen.  :P

They've been driving me nuts since they changed the putting recently.

I have a replay called "you gotta be kidding me" which is the worst one I've seen to date.

I try to get around having those lip outs by getting really close on my approach shots.  :)

I've lipped out in what appears to be the center of the hole on #3 a few times.  Most of the time, if you re-watch these shots on replay in the front view (as opposed to reverse) you'll see the ball go over the lip instead.

It's almost as if the hole location is more accurate in non-reverse view.

Yep - lip outs are killers.  I have, on more than one occasion said "ya gotta be kidding me!" watching a putt or approach seemingly dip into the cup only to roll 3 feet away.  Siiiiigh - art imitates life, imitating art.

I'm not liking some of the putting forgiveness. Even with the new putter, I'm hitting way too many putts that "just" miss. I ran a 6 foot putt with perfect speed right over the right half of the hole and it didn't even lip out. 5.8 ft, hit it 6 ft, rolled right over the hole.

played BP yesterday, I had 5 lipouts in the first seven holes, something going on, have also noticed on the other courses, ball barely rolling and lips out and stops 3-5 inches from the hole, recently those putts would have curled into the hole going that slowly.

They are frustrating to say the least i had one yesterday in multi play and it lipped a complete 360 degrees then went another 8inches past the hole.

these are defiantly more common now imo.
