    Hi WGT

This is an absolute must and should not be all that difficult to set up, I would imagine =0

We need to have some kind of bank account in the country clubs so that members can pay credits into it. This allows for a central paying out point for club competitions. Its just really messy trying to sort this out at the moment.

    Hi paul,

There shouldn't be anything that you have to sort out.  If 10 players enter a club tourney @ 100 credits each, then 800 credits are available for the purse.  That provides the payout for club competitions automatically since the purse is provided directly by the players themselves.

A club "treasury" sort of thing has been discussed, but due to the restrictions on some states/countries it wouldn't be able to be used as a payout point.  We have some other ideas that we're kicking around for the use of a 'treasury', but nothing has been set in stone quite yet.

    Hi Niv

The reason this has come up has been that we are looking at setting up a handicap system in the club. With the current set up the lowest score in the tournament gets paid out and as you know in a handicap tourney this is not correct.

The reason behind the handicap system is to encourage everyone in the club to pay to enter a tourney and feel that they actually have a chance of winning, otherwise you have the same people always coming out on top and before very long you have just 5 or so people involved.

And surely there can be no issue with people paying a membership fee to join a club and then paying annual fees in credits to stay a member. This happens at every golf club all over the world. We are not talking about gambling here we are talking about setting up a virtual golf club where people pay to be members and where tournaments are played in which prizes can be won.

I cannot see how WGT could object to this as the credits are coming from them and the prizes will be coming from the PRO shop.
