Your average is derived using your best 10 of your last 14 scores with a heavier weight on the more recent rounds. If you want to lower your scoring average all you have to do is play ranked rounds or tournament rounds. Your average will work it's way down as you post more scores and will fluctuate as your scores increase or decrease.
