These are my thoughts on this matter although I am sure it has been discussed before.

The 64 degree Satin Pro (50 yards) is a must and replaces the hybrid

I want max precision so that doesn't leave many clubs to choose from for the other 2. My choice is the 60 degree Satin Pro (77 yards) and the 60 degree Satin Master (90 yards)

This seems to create the most even distance spread I can achieve with max precision clubs. My PW kicks in at 115 yards so it's not too bad.

My only weakness is anything between 55 and 75 yards where I have to use the 77 yard wedge at as low as 75% power.

I have played these 3 wedges since last summer. Your 77 punches 63 and is easy to use for 55-60 yds. Use backspin to slow down the roll out.  It flops 26 and chips 11 so with the 64 degree wedge you're covered all the way up to 6 yards off the green.

The 98 yard wedge has the same specs and gives you a little bit better gap coverage under your PW. I use it when I use the TM irons because the set PW goes 122. With the G10s the PW is 115.

Yet while the punch shot is evidence of how "unrealistic" this game can be.. it is but just a game. I mean what type of real golfer "punches" their wedges from the fairway... or even 1st cut? lol

This lends no ear to actually trying to just play, experience.. and learn your clubs. Something i've been trying to do. It's difficult.

Becoming a master sent me on a quest to find out more.... and this is what most masters tout. Punch Punch Punch. Can we get some vodka in that punch? Seems a little dry around here.

We all know that punch shots, in real life, have oh so much spin! lol

While I have found many useful scenarios for the punch, especially from deep sand, I will take the flop over almost everything else. And a good selection of yardage ranges with your wedges can get you real close to a lot of pins once you get the launch direction under control.

I agree with what a number of previous posts have said re the punch shot. I have in the last 10 days found myself using this shot more and more frequently, in fact round St Andrews I am using it as my approach shot on virtually all of the par 4s. The control that you get from it is superb and once you have worked out your distances, it really will see your short game improve hugely. I only wished I had discovered its uses months ago.....

I use the ping master 64 degree instead of the Z satin 64 degree (other than that the same setup as you). The ping master 64 degree hits the ball 60 yards, which closes that gap and it has more precision.  So with full shots I can cover 90, 77, and 60 yards... and punch shots cover the rest of the gaps. I love the setup.
