Excuse me if this was on TV broadcast, I've worked all weekend and haven't been able to watch ....

(Cue Twilight Zone theme music) ...

Only two no-hitters have been pitched on the eve of the U.S. Open In the history of Major League baseball.

The first came in 2003, when the Houston Astros pitched a combined no-hitter against the New York Yankees at New York.

The second came Wednesday night when San Francisco's Matt Cain no-hit theHouston Astros at San Francisco.

Here's the scary & golf part of this ...

The 2003 U.S. Open was played at Olympia Fields
The 2012 U.S. Open is being played at The Olympic Club in San Francisco

And even more scary, Jim Furyk won at Olympia Fields in 2003..

Furyk tied for lead after the 2nd and 3rd rounds this year

    You're right!

    My Apologies.

The course connection is 2003 US Open was at Olympia Fields (Chicago area).

And this year's US Open is at The Olympic Club

Hello - my name is Yancy. Me and my friend Medford Mel been discussing your post and whatnot. Now, I am just a common feller, but Mel he is going all Sherlock Holmes on your numbers with his algorythms and statistical doins.

Hope to have an equation that provides the documentables on these scenarios and such done later today before the US OPEN is over.

    Regards, I am Yancy
