    Anyone have any ideas on holding the green in 2? Even when I am 180 yards out on edge of landing area I am unable to ever hold this green, so much so that I just lay-up right and chip up for my birdie try. Obviously, I would love more/any eagle attempts....

    If you can catch that nub of grass between the bunker that fronts the green you have a good chance to get it to stop.  It's definitely a tough shot and be careful of overcooking it because behind the green is no-man's land.

    I made it one time with 3 wood full backspin but most of the time I end up in the stuff Niv spoke of. And once when I misjudged the wind I ended up in the road for an OB.

    I have made 6 or 7 eagles there, but not one with the putter. It is fun to give it a go but no fun to 3 putt for par.

    check my latest replay to see how to get it fairly close in 2 to the back pin.

    Great shot Bollox! -- did you use backspin/no spin/forward spin -- partial spin?  it was a 188 yard shot..Did you use your 3 iron full power?

    Good shot man but you're lucky it hit the pin or it just might have ended up way down the hill in the weeds.

    Thanks 4 da PRO analysis there fella. I was refering to the 1 landing area for that pin placement. But thanks for your prediction..
