  I was actually right next to the kid who yelled "mashed potatoes", drunk college guys just having fun all day long.  Common saying nowadays(younger crowd) is " that ball was mashed", hence, mashed potatoes.  The energy on Sunday's 18th green was awesome and Tiger sure did put on a show.  Hopefully his 2012 season is full of the same.

  He got it right. My 21 year old son uses the same expression and we're 3000 miles east.  :-)
