  I'm brand new to WGT. I might be looking for a CC to joint, but I also have a couple of friends who may be interested in forming our own. So I'd like to know how to get to Amateur Status.

  Post ranked "strokeplay" rounds. Practice , Alt. shot , and matchplay  will  not help you advance your tier status.

  It might also be a good idea to join a club to see how it's run. Might give you some ideas for when you start your own.
