  In real golf u can see what club the other person is using so why not incorperate that?

  Also my question is,if u hit a drive 250 yds lets say and the hole is 500 yds,u should have 250 left to the green but every hole always has more yardage left,why is that?

  Just curious,lol.

  well, if you had a fairway that was 1 yard wide and perfectly straight , and you hit it 250 yards straight down the middle, you'd have 250 yards left. 

   

   

  ...think about direction wonder why you haven't before...

  Jimbo... remember... the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.  Rarely, if ever, do you hit your tee shot along that straight line.

  Look at it this way.. when you tee shot lands it gives you a distance FROM the tee box and then the distance TO the green.  And like Birdwell pointed out, it's not in a narrow (straight line) fairway.

  how about being able to hit the ball over 250.  I rarely hit a drive under 250.  And I am not that good...  16 handicap.  Do you ever get to hit the ball any farther in this game?

  Absolutely, the current record is 350 yards. (With the best R9 driver.)
