  That's true, but you do get higher trajectories from the master wedges due to their length.  The 64-degree master wedge is usable up to 60 yards, whereas you'd have to use the 60-degree pro wedge to hit 50-60-yard shots.  Similarly, the 60-degree Z Satin master will allow you to shoot a 60-degree wedge all the way to 90 yards, whereas if you have the Z Satin Pro wedge, you have to move to a 58-, 56-, or 54-degre wedge for shots over 77 yards.

  Getting a bit confusing for new types, C, there is no Master 64 degree wedge. Both 64 degree wedges can be purchased as pros but have the same attributes as their related Master wedges. 

  The trajectory is either High or Med/High and the only wedges with High trajectories are the WGT wedges. For what it's worth I carry all Satins- 50 yd, 77 yd, 90 yd and 110 yd. With Ping irons you might say why carry the 110 wedge? The trajectory of the Ping set wedge (115) is High and very definitely performs differently than the Med/High 110 wedge, particularly in the wind.

  Sorry.  I meant the 60-yard 64-degree ping pro wedge will allow you to hit a 64-degree club all the way up to 60 yards instead of 50 yards.

  I'm now 100% sold on the 105-yard 54-degree ping master, the 90-yard 60-degree Z Satin master, and the 60-yard 64-degree ping pro.  I just backed up a shot from 105 yards with 7 tailwind... that's crazy.

  Best club in my bad is the Ping 64 degree wedge, rated 60yds at full, 49 yards at punch, very easy to hit from 38yds up.  Under that distance I dont generally need another full swing club, mainly because the flop shot of 37yds on SW works quite well, same with 29yd flop and 19yd flop.

  No more then 13yds, and I have the 105yd wedge as well but dont use it often.  my factor for the ping 64 is the chip distance of 7yds.  With full backspin it is great for short distance chips, and with "topspin" I can roll it out to 9yds on a flat lie.  It comes in handy when you just miss the green to a pin only a few feet from the collar, or you need to check a downhill short chip.

  Full swings and pitch shots are a lot more accurate than flop shots.  The penalty for having the higher arc and softer landing is that its precision is terrible.

  Charlemagne, practice the flop, and within a few shots you will have the aiming down.  I think I can count on one hand how many 2 putts I have had after a flop shot.

  This is why the flop shot around the green is killer. I imagine the Ping acts the same way although aiming might be harder because of the extra precision. I've been using that 1st mark of the left of center as an offset to the flop going right since I learned the shot a year ago. Try it for fun-don't move the aimer and try to hit that mark. The ball goes directly at the aimer. Both spins work well too.

  The 6 yard chip (7) is almost as good as putting.
