  Sometimes we gather at one house for "intelectual discussions" and an adult beverage or two. we all would love to play the best damn golf game made but we do not have laptops. wondreing if there could be a hotseat option so we are not forced to play other lousy games.

  Unfortunately, a hot-seat option is not feasible with this game.  Each player would need to have their own PC in order to play in a foursome. =(

  However, you may want to consider opening a Country Club for you and your friends.  Country Club owners can run tournaments for their members only and you could each take a turn playing in the tournament.  Tournaments can be created and played for free or you can charge an entry and give out a purse.

  SC is right, Jim... as a matter of fact, we had a foursome the other day all on the same router...  3 laptops and a desktop.
