He saw the leaderboard, saw an opening, knew what he needed to do....

His record round Erin stood him in good stead, a new pack of Titleist ProV1s in the bag.

Weather benign, greens firm but a good pace. He could taste the victory champagne.

He bottled it. A missed 4 footer for birdie at the 1st should have indicated early on what was in store.

    Wk17 Erin Hills - 70

Since the recent uplift to TourMaster after winning the 9 hole single play he is finding it impossible to break 70.

He seems to have inherited Rory McIlroy’s “Budgies in the head”, can almost hear the chirping laughter. Capable of 3 solid rounds in 4 round tournaments.

Hope the rest of you don’t suffer from my choker syndrome.

    Good luck.

First time playing Erin from the back tees.  Started OK, 3 under on the front 9, then got winded just walking down to the red tee boxes and only managed 1 under for the back 9.  68 overall, which is pretty good for me.

I'm going to go lie down now.

58 at Erin. Disappointing after a good start.

59 for me. Had a bogie on the front 9 and parred both par 5's on the back 9.

    Happy Weekend!

A pleasant round at Erin Hills, a course that sometimes frustrates me. Hit every fairway and green. Just my mediocre putting between me and a great score. LOL Actually missed a couple I should have made and made a couple I really didn't deserve. It all evened out.

    Finished with a 64.

Have fun and hit 'em straight,

    John

A 62 for me this week. It was a struggle on a course I normally play rather well on but sometimes its just hard.

I enjoy this tournament and reading about all your adventures out there. Keep it up!

Couldn't get much going on the front 9, parred both par 5's which I feel like is a bogey but had -3 on the front. On the back had a -7 which I am happy with. What could of been if I had birdie the 2 par 5's on the front and made a couple of the 5 footers for birds.  Oh well.  -10 for the round. Cheers.

I'm glad you're back! It looks like you missed playing the 3rd round, but I have you set up to go for the tournament starting Monday.
