As owner of Black Diamond GC, I am going to weigh in on this.
1. No ethical and proper owner/recruiter of a cc will solicit members of another cc. Clubs that do that are scum.
2. We also have to understand that all WGT players are free agents. If one has a happy club, they won't leave. And if 1 or 2 do, so be it.
3. I see lots of clubs at 250 members recruiting. Why exactly? 1/2 of those kick you out if you don't play in 3 days. (I also noticed one club with over 200 invites to his club outstanding. What?)
4. If club is happy, members will not leave. We have had exactly 2 members leave for another club in 2 years.
5. Black Diamond only invites if player asks. We might invite someone who doesn't belong to a club. We never initiate to a member of another club.
6. We are a fun and friendly club, and we admit at all skill levels. But we aren't striving to get to 250 members for the owner's ego. We have tournaments that take into account all skill levels, 4 Champs, 2 TL's, lots of Legends and a bunch from TM-Pro. It is all supposed to be fun.
