  Texan pro golfer Mancil Davis who is known as the “King of Aces”. Davis still holds the PGA world record for holes in one withan amazing total of 51! His first ace came in 1967. He carded his 51st 40 years later in 2007 during a celebrity golf tournament .

  Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas holds the title for the most expensive course ever built, costing a staggering $60 million back when it opened in 1989 – over $150 million in today’s money! In 2019 Shadow Creek further cemented its status as the most expensive golf course in the world, by busting through the $1000 a round green fee! Update - 18 holes at Shadow Creek will now set you back $1250! Plus – you have to be a guest at the MGM Resort to even get as far as the clubhouse!!! Whilst the course is specatacular -and even as a huge golf fan – can any round of golf really be worth that amount of money? Perhaps if you’ve hit gold on the nearby blackjack tables you might want to treat yourself .
