  • poldimaier Wins First Virtual Tour Major of 2015

    WGT Tour Legend poldimaier, who is also the reigning Virtual U.S. Open Champion (2014), wins the first Major of the 2015 WGT Virtual Tour in the March Kiawah Championship.

    Shooting 54, 53 and 56 for a combined score of 163, poldimaier claimed the top spot by 4 strokes in the first Major tournament of the year to close out the Jan-Mar Quarterly Season. Tied for second with combined scores of 167 were Tour Legends including FarFoo, fmagnets, Lizard69, derekortt, KyRock75, Saurabh08 and UBCLU546.

    This Major win also puts poldimaier at the top of the Jan-Mar Quarterly Season leaderboard, the first of four 3-month seasons in this year's WGT Virtual Tour. As one of the top two players on the leaderboard, he will be competing in our first Quarterly Championship match (streaming live on Twitch.tv) for an additional, winner-take-all 10,000 WGT Credit prize. Details and scheduling are still being finalized, so stay tuned for more information on when to watch -- coming soon!

    Virtual Tour April Tournament

    With the first quarterly season ending in March, we've started the new Apr-Jun Quarterly Season with this month's Transamerica Challenge tournament on Bethpage Black.

    Play the unlimited first round and post your score by 4/25, then post your single-play second round score 4/26-4/30.

    The top 70 scores in each tier will split a total purse of 200,000 WGT Credits, that count toward the Apr-Jun quarterly season standings. Be sure to play now to get on the leaderboard early!

    Based on player feedback, you now have the option to turn off the WGT Swing Caddy in your Settings. This is great for top players, that prefer to select their clubs manually, based on each shot.
