    14 Feb 2013

Pebble Beach is America's top-ranked and most famous golf course. The famed Pebble Beach Golf Links golf course is the most recent addition to World Golf Tour, and is now available as a free closest-to-the-hole online game.

Tiger Woods won the 2000 U.S. Open by 15 strokes, and one of his many memorable shots was his second at the par-5 hole 6 from 199 yards. This is one of the most famous shots in golf, a blind shot over the ocean cliff to a green that's 37 feet above you.

Incredibly, Tiger used a 6-iron for this shot, leaving it 15 feet from the flagstick and setting up a two-putt birdie.

On World Golf Tour, you can try that same approach shot from 199 yards over the cliff, but you'll probably need a 3-wood or hybrid.

Pebble Beach Hole 6 Tip - Zoom in on the green and play it a little short and left to let the ball run up onto the green.

You can sign up for World Golf Tour here and play Pebble Beach, St Andrews and other famous golf courses free online.
