1.     Sponsor/Promoter.

This Contest is sponsored by World Golf Tour, Inc., 160 Pine Street, Suite 510, San Francisco, CA 94111

2.     Eligibility.


This sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the U.S. in the 50 states and Canadian residents (except the province of Quebec) who are 21 years of age and older. Employees and the immediate family members of Kiawah Island Golf Resorts, and their affiliates, divisions, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and any other entity directly associated with this sweepstakes are not eligible to participate. This offer is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void in Puerto Rico, and wherever else prohibited and/or restricted by law.

3.     How To Enter.

To enter the Kiawah Island Invitational, log on to the website at www.wgt.com, register to enter the Kiawah Island Invitational and then play and complete the designated 18-hole stoke play game (the "Game") at wgt.com. You must play and complete the Game between 1:00 am Pacific Time (in other words, California Time) ("PT") on the first day of the applicable contest period (the "Contest Period") and 11:59 pm PT on the last day of the applicable Contest Period (defined below) and you will automatically be entered into the Contest (each an "entry"). No Credits will be deducted from your World Golf Tour account to enter this Contest. You may play the Game as many times as you wish during each Contest Period, but only the lowest final score received by you in a Game during each Contest Period will be recorded as your entry for the applicable Contest Period. Limit one prize per person, per email address, and per WGT user account.  Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ENTRANTS: ENTRANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE ENTRY PERIOD TIMES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE TIME ZONES.

The Contest Periods is as follows: February 1 - February 28, 2014 (the "Contest Period").  No other methods of entry will be accepted. Electronic entries must be initiated during the Contest Period. Completed electronic entries must be transmitted and received by 11:59 pm PT on the last day of the Contest Period. Limit one entry per person, per email address, and per WGT user account per Contest Period.

Use of multiple email addresses or multiple WGT user accounts to enter is prohibited. To enter, the registered user of designated WGT user account must personally play the Game or the entry will be disqualified. Use of a false email address or a false WGT user account, or an incorrect mail address will disqualify an entry. You may not allow any third party to play the Game in this Contest using your WGT user account. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE THAT ALL SUSPECTED FRAUDULENT OR IMPROPER ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED BY SPONSOR AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, illegible, mutilated, postage-due, garbled or delayed entries or other communications or other technical problems related to entries. Sponsor and its agents and subcontractors accept no responsibility for entries lost or delayed in submission. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the website or the game, or who otherwise violates these rules. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account designated in the entrant's World Golf Tour user account will be deemed to be the entrant. Contest is void in Quebec, and where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply.

4.     Game Description.

  The Kiawah Island Invitational is an 18-hole stroke play, unlimited-play game. The entrants will be given eighteen holes throughout the golf course, and are challenged to get the ball into the cup for each hole in the fewest strokes. The number of stokes taken to get the ball into each cup, plus any penalties, will be recorded for each entrant. When entrant completes all eighteen designated holes, the number of strokes, plus penalties, is totaled and comprises the entrant's score in that Game. The final score received by you for the Game during the Promotion Period will be recorded as your entry for the promotion.  If any Qualifying Entrant(s) that is randomly selected as a winner of the sweepstakes is not eligible to win a prize, the prize(s) for such entrants will be awarded to a different player that will be selected at random.
5.     Prizes.

There is one prize package to be awarded to a winner eligible to win a prize as follows:

There is one (1) Grand Prize of a trip for two people to the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The trip includes two nights and three days accommodations in a Resort Villa, one round of golf on the resorts Championship courses (excluding the Ocean Course) and airfare voucher of up to $500 per person .   All reservations are based on availability, and must be booked at least 30 days in advance of travel. No trips may be taken during the blackout periods specified by the aforementioned hotel, golf, car rental or other partners. Approximate retail value of prize is $2,400.00. Actual value may vary based on time of arrival. Winner will be responsible for all airfare, gratuities, room service charges, insurance, taxes, food and beverage purchases, telephone charges, and other items not specified in these Official Rules.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of entrants, the number of entrants who are eligible to win prizes.

Prize is not transferable. No substitution of prize for cash or for other goods and services is permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prize details including color, style, and size, are at Sponsor's sole discretion. All taxes, including, without limitation, all federal, state, provincial and local taxes, and international tariffs, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Prize claimed in accordance with the Official Rules will be awarded. Winner may be required to provide a U.S., or  Canadian, shipping address to claim prize. Prize will be mailed only following Sponsor's receipt of the completed Affidavit of Eligibility and, except where and as prohibited, a Liability Release and Publicity Release, as well as verification of winner's eligibility.

6.     Winner Selection and Notification.

Winner Selection: Winner will be randomly selected on or about March 15, 2014 from all eligible entries received. The prize winner will be notified within 10 days of the drawing with details on how to claim their prize by an email sent to the email address specified in the entry and posted on the World Golf Tour website. To claim a prize, prize winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited) within 10 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining entries. The judging will be conducted by Sponsor or its designee, the judge of the Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. Potential winners may be required to show proof of identification within seven (7) days of attempted notification, or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Travel companions of winner will also be required to sign and return a Travel Liability Release. Winner will also be required to complete, sign and return a W9 form for tax purposes.


7.     General Terms and Conditions.

By entering the Contest, entrant accepts and agrees to abide by and be bound by the terms of these Official Rules, and assumes sole liability and accepts all risk of loss for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this Contest or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of, or travel to or from or in connection with the Contest or any prize awarded. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this Contest for any reason, including if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures and to select winner from eligible entries received on or before the termination date. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error.

By entering this Contest, entrants grant to Sponsor a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, right and royalty-free license to use the entry, and, except where prohibited by law, entrant's first and/or last name, city and state/province of residence, photo(s), voice and/or likeness; in any and all media but solely in connection with this Contest. By entering this Contest, entrants agree (a) that Sponsor has the right to exploit and utilize entrant's first and/or last name, city and state/province of residence, photo(s), voice and/or likeness in any and all media but solely in connection with this Contest without any further attribution, notification or compensation to Entrant, except where prohibited; (b) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges; and (c) to be contacted by Sponsor or its agents by telephone, mail or email regarding this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, World Golf Tour and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees or agents of each from any and all liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light) arising out of or in connection with the Contest, the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or arising out of or in connection with any travel to or from any Contest or prize related activity.

Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

In the event that any provision of these Official Rules shall be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law or be so held by applicable court decision, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Official Rules unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and, in such event, such provision shall be changed and interpreted so as to best accomplish the objectives of such unenforceable or invalid provision within the limits of applicable law or applicable court decisions.

If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection caused by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of World Golf Tour which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, World Golf Tour reserve the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In such event Golfpac, Inc. further reserve the right to conduct a drawing to award the Prize using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. World Golf Tour. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. World Golf Tour, Inc. is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest. Entrants may not play with multiple e-mail addresses nor may entrants use any other device, script, program or artifice to play multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to play with multiple e-mail addresses under multiple identities or uses any device, script, program or artifice to play multiple times or as multiple entrants will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WORLD GOLF TOUR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

8.     Applicable Law.

The Contest is governed by the laws of the state of California applicable to contracts entered into by California residents and to be performed within such State without regard to its conflict of law provisions, with venue in San Francisco County, California.

9.     Winners list.

For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped* business size envelope by April 30th, 2014 to: "Kiawah Island Invitational Winner, 160 Pine St. Suite 510, San Francisco, CA, 94111. *Please use forever stamps. Sponsor will not be responsible for insufficient postage.
