Reading greens when chipping

    When you are off the green and are chipping, you do not always get the grid that shows you the extent of the slope of the green. Sometimes you do, sometimes you dont. Would make it a bit easier for us hacks to chip is closer sometimes.

    I do realize the easy fix is not to miss the green........... :)

    if the shot arc is red, then move up a club until you can see the grid (if your aim is further than the club distance, then you won't see the grid).

    Take your aim with the putting or chipping grid on so you can read the green, then change your club. Doing this at least your aim point is set and you know the actual yardage to the aim point. It will change your views and all but it won't change your chosen aim point or yardage.
