  i would agree that at one time it was the most realistic golf game on the internet, but since we moved away from flash it has become nothing more than just another wacky golf game, and getting worse with every update!

  Does this mean that during the time WGT was part of Topgolf, WGT staff weren't working exclusively on WGT?  Things are starting to make a lot of sense now.

  Oh no!  Adding more ridiculous games like Coin Chaos is not innovation, merely a way of getting players to waste ball hits for nothing tangible in return.

  For a bit more added context:

   

  • So on the higher end (before transition), we had people splitting time between WGT and Topgolf games. Many times where they had to lean more so into topgolf's side. QA and engineers were never pulled over to topgolf it really was only at the senior level.
  • Now post transition, we brought 29 (lost a few people that stayed with topgolf) with us. All of us are now entirely focused on WGT.  
  • We've already officially hired 1 person, his focus is on partnerships and revenue at WGT seems like a nice guy and he even has experience in games and worked at Twitch for awhile. We did lose 3 support people to topgolf and which is why we're behind on support tickets. We just hired 1 support person and they should start in the next week or two!
  • We'll still be hiring for a couple more roles in the near future!

  So Top Golf bought out WGT, then Callaway bought Top Golf.  I guess Callaway decided they are better off without WGT.  

  The next should be interesting.

  I was a real golfer for a long t\ime, before injuries, and a 11 handicap.

  WGT has been a fun replacement.  But I am pessimistic.
