    how do you read a green for slopes. How to get a ball in the cup with a slope.

    Two ways :

    1. Place the cup on a flat green surface; and/or
    2. Make the cup bigger. (Yes! We're all great golfers. It's the size of cup being too tiny!)

    Seriously, these general rules might help you though.

    • Downhill break breaks more while uphill break breaks less.
    • Initial break breaks more than late break.
    • Many double breakers, often are straight putts.
    • Hole view generally (not always!) more reliable than ball view.
    • Early break often breaks more on shorter but not on longer (due to speed).
