  Just wanted to let everyone know that WGT lost a great player last night!

  "We are devastated and heartbroken to let everyone know that my Dad, Skip Walley, passed away suddenly last night. The memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Friday, June 17th at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Tx."

  We all knew him in the game as PenguinSkip and he was a member of Doc's Place CC and he will be deeply missed. All the details I have now, his daughter posted this on his FB page 6/13/22.

  You will dearly be missed Sir Skip!!!

  Sad to hear of Skip's passing. His username always had me a little confused and bemused trying to imagine a penguin skipping, but I probably missed the point.

  It's harder for friends and relatives when a loved one departs suddenly, but I know I'd rather go that way.

  Cheerio Skip, I always smile when I see your profile pic on my friends page so you're never far from my memory.

  So sorry to hear that Rusty. I always enjoyed playing rounds with Skip. He was one of the really good guys of WGT. We will keep you and the family in our prayers.

  As sad as this is, When I read this- I was at first thought thinking...I had no idea Skip was your Dad.

  We all loved Skipper here at Doc's Place. He was a good, kind man, and friend to us all. He pretty much co-founded the club with me, and he worked tirelessly over the years helping to run things around here. If you knew him, you liked him. We will miss him terribly.   Skipper was a great man, a good friend, and will be sorely missed in this country club.
