What is the difference between the M1 and M2 Phantom Putters? I can't tell any visual difference between them, and the performance is the same!

The only difference is the scales. The M1 has 15-30-60-100-150 and 300. The M2 has 10-20-50-100-150 and 300. With the difference in scales the percentage used for putts is different. Every thing else is the same. It all comes down to personal preference and what you feel comfortable with. Take a putt that needed to be hit with 7.5 foot power. Do you feel more comfortable using 50% power (15 foot scale) or 25% power (30 foot scale) or 12.5% power (60 foot scale) M1

    or 75% power (10 foot scale)or (37.5% power 20 foot scale) or (15% power 50 foot scale) M2

I prefer the M1 but there are just as many others who prefer the M2 scales.

I have a M2. After I bought it, I regretted purchasing it and wish I had chosen the M1.

I'm used to it now. But it was more of a learning curve than I thought it would be. My previous putter had the same scale as the M1.

I believe your current putter also has the same scale as the M1.

Thanks to each of you for clarifying that, makes perfect sense ... the M1 will suit me better so I'll go for that once I cross over to L98.

WGT would of refunded your credits and you could of purchased the one you really wanted. All you had to do was ask, They have done it for me. Cheers

At the time, I didn't realize that or even think of asking.

It took me about a month or so to get used to it. Besides, during that time, I had another excuse I could use for why my putting was so bad. 😉

Of course, now it's fine. I was forced, however, to come up with another excuse for the bad putting. 😀

When you hit L98 you'll get it offered to you to hire for free (I swear it said 2 hours when I levelled up but was getting offers to buy it for 2 days) so make sure you accept it & then if you like it you get 10% off the purchase price.

    Cheers

Great info! Yo probably saved me dude, I'm about to hit 98 so i have been looking forward to upgrading. I am a 10-20 guy so this is really helpful and WGT should have these specific numbers in the putter details.
