This KEEPS HAPPENING (at least for me on mobile) during Showdowns.
Opponent quits in the middle of a 3 hole round. I get an error pop up to "cancel" or "retry". Hitting "retry" just brings up the same error pop up immediately again forever (or until I "time out", and which point it says my time expired, gives me a warning, and then goes immediately back into the original error pop up loop anyway). Hitting cancel tends to freeze the game completely.
In either case, I have to close the app, and when I come back I've been given bogeys for the unfinished holes and moved along to the next set of 3 holes. Just happened now on the "Gobble Gobble" qualifying round.
Note that sometimes when an opponent forfeits it does as it's supposed to... says they forfeit, and then I'm returned to complete the three holes on my own. But that's like 50% of the time, and the other 50% I get the crash+bogey death combo.
PLEASE fix this- it's just the worst to throw away15 (or 6) good holes because you get a +2 on a forfeit/crashed round.
