I've played WGT golf on this machine since March of this year 2021 with no problems, so my machine is up to the task.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but it's too long a thread for me to go through all 11 pages.

After starting the game for the first time in a while, my screen is all messed up. I have to play the 1024*768 version because it's the one required by the eTour, but my game now looks like this:

Before, the game was stretched across the whole screen, now I see huge black bars to the right and left. Is this just the new state of the game after the update or does a workaround exist?

    Birchi try this....

see the cog wheel bottom of your screen shot next to white x.....

click on the cog wheel  and new window opens up for SETTINGS

    at the top is VIDEO

2nd line down under VIDEO is DISPLAY MODE

You can now toggle between WINDOW and FULL SCREEN by clicking on the arrows.

Obviously FULL SCREEN is what you require......then click on SAVE and CLOSE.

    Kind regards

    Listee

I think Birchi is already in fullscreen Listee, otherwise he wouldn't have the black bars either side.

I would suggest taking it out of fullscreen Birchi, via the settings as Listee suggested, then choose a resolution option, but it looks like you already have the 1024x768 resolution option selected.

Simon, which GPU are you using? Nvidia or AMD? Go to settings of the GPU and enable scaling. Scaling mode-------------full panel.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I do have a Nvidia and changed the settings accordingly, but it still wouldn't stretch for some reason (even though it worked for other games). I guess I'll just have to get adjusted to the narrower game, should be possible.
