  Simon gave the real answer.  Just use 68 down instead of 38 and the distance is great as long as you hit the shot you mean to.

  Just double and triple check your club selection if you use reverse view.

  And make sure you don't land too far to the right or the ball will roll down that slope leaving you a very difficult very long uphill putt.

  I have holed this out, and the yardage is a bit tricky, and there are 2 different irons I use for the different wind conditions I face on this hole.

  Mark, perhaps you'd be kind enough to grace us with your 'real' answer then.  Especially since you've holed this out.

  I'm sorry. My ignorance isn't on purpose, I wasn't sure what 68 down means in the terms used by others. Might be elevation, sorry. 

  I holed it at about 163 fbs with wind at my back, maybe 11mph?  can't recall. Anyway, is it right in that area. But I also used a wgt 1-0 ball so makes a diff when factoring in the big spin balls.

  Today it suddenly becomes -92ft to play it accurately.  WGT is really having problem, iron shot mapped distances vary by 5-10 yards between courses, I cant play at all.

  Well, apparently WGT has fixed whatever problem they were really having, and you can play again.

  09 Aug  richard03804 holed a shot from 180.71 yards.

  I have always having problems on this hole and after reading these threads I can see why, so I played some shots, best one came up 3 yards short of hole working with 68 drop and using a 7 iron callaway club at 92%.

  I look in here to get tips and help so that was useful.

  Don't quite get what you mean that WGT fixed it, the problem getting worst and so unpredictable.  In addition, the approach shots at hole 7 TP are always short for 6 yards (7 iron). is it just me?

  This is one of the holes where you're dealing with a severe uphill green surface. Ask yourself if you're using too much backspin on the 2nd shot. Apply less bs and help it release forward or hit it past the hole and let it roll back. The former is easier to execute and more predictable than the latter. Good luck.
