There is a work around to the problem. In settings, change swing controls to RIGHT. It will not make any change in how you swing the club, unless you use vertical, then it will move the control to the right side of your screen. The maps will now show up; on the left side of your screen.
Yes , I recently changed my swing control . For almost 2 years I thought PCEA did not offer the same swing meter as we had in Flash .
I though our choices were .
Right side swing meter .
And left side swing meter .
So I of course chose right side .Which I never liked and longed to be able to have a center meter again .
I just happened to be looking through the settings and I saw an option for " NONE " swing meter .
I thought I had died and gone to heaven . Game changer for me .
Then I think just a few days later . I was playing PB . And
Have noticed that there are no maps on hole 1 or 8 at Pebble Beach.
On 8 , no mini map . No aimer . 3 balls in the water on the tee . Then I finally remembered . I went way left and layed up . Got on the fairway . Next shot no mini map . There was an aimer but it didn't have anywhere near the correct distance . Lost 3 moe balls . Then I had to forfeit .
Anyway . This occurs with the " NONE " swing meter . Not in the other settings . I'm staying with it .
Never occurred before PCEA . They are aware of it . Hope they can fix it .
