    According to the web version of my profile I have 287 'friends' but only 255 of them show up on the App. Anyone know why and what i should do to get them all on the app.

    I think the bit of WGTs database that holds the number of friends you are allowed, can only hold a maximum value of 255 (one byte), so unless WGT change that to hold a bigger value, we're going to be stuck at 255.

    one byte = 8 bits (binary digits)

    8 bits = 11111111 (binary number)

    11111111 = 1x1 + 1x2 + 1x4 + 1x8 + 1x16 + 1x32 + 1x64 + 1x128 = 255

    Do you wish you hadn't asked? Lol.  ; )

    Apparently, they didn't touch it since it's outside Flash.

    ⇧ Can you spot my mistake? ⇧

    11111111 = 1x128 + 1x64 + 1x32 + 1x16 + 1x8 + 1x4 + 1x2 + 1x1 = 255

    Going from left to right, the highest value is to the left, not t'other way around

    A mistake? YOU make a mistake?! LOL

    Uuuhhh... I dunno, Scott. Maybe you forgot to leave a space between the first four 1s and the second? I mean like 1111 1111...

    Hehe.

    It's certainly easier to read written that way Simon, but I'm not sure of the convention.  : )

    Hmmm... :)

    Isn't 1 byte (8 bits) supposed to be able to express 256 variations theoretically? (2^8) Maybe this?

    EDIT : Never mind, Scott. Just saw the answer above. Sorry. HAHA
