i've never been able to accurately count dots. common sense would say count the one thats moving the fastest. But doesn't seem to work that way.
Are you using a timer to count the dots? If not you will be very inconsistent with the counts.

Usually the fastest dots have more impact near you(at beginning of putt) than near the hole(close to the hole).
