Am I alone in being frustrated by the slow internet speeds of players from USA and Canada? I want to play golf against them but time and time again the game has to be paused while they try to 'reconnect'. More than 50% of the time that is unsuccessful and the game is forfeited to me. BUT I HAVEN'T PLAYED A SHOT!!! The purpose of the game is to simulate golf - not visiting a comatose patient.
"For the best experience a fast internet connection is required" the game states on its opening page. Why does it allow people with Third World internet speeds to join and drag the rest of us down?
Am I alone in cursing the message that comes up saying, "Putt for the win" or "Putt for the tie" completely obliterating the view of the hole and stealing 2 or 3 seconds from the time available to measure up and take a putt.
Thank you
I feel slightly better for getting rid of that rant!

No you are not alone in being frustrated . And for the same reasons . Except there is no stereotype . Or region of the world that has significantly less internet speeds .
I can tell this by a couple reasons . 1 being that I am one with a decent computer . That has what should be decent internet speed . But my " LOADS RENDERING ' is extremely slow .
I also have over 10,000 multiplayer rounds . I including incomplete rounds . And I talk to them . And ask players from all over the world if they have any loading issues . Most do . Some say they don't .
And another thing ........

.
Everyone thinks they have " fast internet connection " . No one can prove they don't . Mine loads most everything up quick .
The WGTFP don't have the resources to perform speed traps . ( WGT Forum Police ) . Or no doubt they would . They would then send them to the WGTMC . WGT Municipal Court .

No . You are not . But don't waste any breath with that one . They are about 1800 down on the priority list .
Anyway . Welcome to the forums .
