  Match 2: Fairway Fanatics 2 v Cobra Kai 3

  Tie 6

  NeetMr (129) beat Versace37 (244) 58-60

   

  A stunning match which started badly for Neet when he lost a ball and bogeyed #2 which left him 2 down after Versace's birdie. 

  The Cobra Conjurer peppered the flag with approaches on the front 9 and was 3 shots up after 6 holes with 5 birdies. 

  After the turn, Neet found some form and rallied back level including a 151yard eagle, although Versace holed out from edge of green to birdie.  The putts started to fall and he edged 2 clear. As hard as he tried, Versace couldn't get it back as the holes ran out.

  An epic game and i wish Versace and his club all the best for rest of tournament.

  Is it OK that we played already? I have a teammate that was told by his opponent that their match couldn't be played until April 21. I think he meant that he was told that according to the rules of the tourney the matches couldn't be played until then.

  11 1irony def. 440 bahacker 56-67

  I had 16 birdies and 2 pars, so nothing terribly special there. My opponent however could not get anything to go his way the whole round. The match could have been much closer if he had been on the receiving end of any good luck.

  Great match, CC holed out for eagle twice and played great throughout. I got off to a slow start parring 1 and 3 but a tight 2nd shot on #16 that lead to an easy eagle put me in position to take the win.

  Was nice to catch up with Gill. 

  Both were not at the races with a few wtfs.

  Putts just wouldn't drop for Gill on another day it would have been alot closer
