  Top notch, Brian.  Congrats!

  And now I want to give a shout-out for the 12 members of my club who finished their rounds in January.

  wags and Gary got trophies for their 2nd place tie, while beerstine, Paulgreen, and Mikey also placed in the top 10.

  Our other finishers placed from 12th (Carrvet) to 32nd.  Good grit in there.

  Moving on to the February tourney, the FAPC member to watch is JBiii9.  She would have crushed the January field by 9 strokes, but she entered late.  Steadily-improving Tour Pros with better and better equipment fare especially well in handicap situations.  Go, JB!

  I had a 66 in the Wk 6 tournament. If I only wouldn't have doubled the 18 hole !

  Wk6 @ Kiawah = 66

  Front 9 not inspiring with level par, kickstarted round with eagle at the 11th and missed short putts on 17 and 18 so should have gone lower.

  overall happy, few more burned edges of the cup, pins on back 9 seemed a lot less slope than front 9.

  57 for me in the opening round (Kiawah). I normally go out of my way to stay off of this course. With all of those amazing camera angles and perfect greens {written with sarcasm}, I had a few lucky guesses today though.

  Shot my first round of the Groundhog Day...Again Tournament at possibly the course I hate the most. Hit a 67 (-5), but should’ve been better. 3 or 4 holes I had lip-outs after somehow reading sort of the right line on these stupid greens!

  This round I shot a 66. Should have been much better but so many missed short putts, even a 3 putt on a par 5, at least that was still a par, my other 3 putt got me a bogey.

  It wasn't a hard round at Kiawah. Just kind of blah. Made a 28 footer for eagle on #2 and a 21 footer for bird on #18  and missed a half dozen under 10feet. Only 1 bogey and that was on #4.
