NEW!!! LEXMARK SMART CADDIE ON-SCREEN METER GAUGE! NO MORE GUESSING .... YOUR YARD MARKERS ARE RIGHT ON THE GAUGE .... FOR ANY SET OF CLUBS or BALL YOU CHOOSE TO USE! ..... RECORD YOUR COURSE NOTES AS YOU PLAY!

(Over the past 6 years I have used my games to calibrate the gauge, so don't judge the Caddie by my average and level). I created an on-screen Smart Caddie that fits on the screen underneath your game. Click on any club and the yards for that club will appear right on the gauge with the actuate yards for that particular shot.  The Caddie will adjust to fit any driver, club, putter and ball in your bag, simply by typing in the yards WGT gives you for each club and clicking on the distance and spin ball buttons that you are using.... The Lexmark Smart Caddie will automatically load your yards for each club in your bag.

    ADVANTAGES:

    DRIVER AND CLUBS:

The Smart Caddie has a GPS so that when you type in the yards-to-the-hole, wind speed/direction and green elevation....the accurate yards will appears for your next shot….so that when you switch clubs it will give you the correct yardage-to-the-hole depending on the wind gust and elevation feet for that club!

You never have to move the pointer for your clubs .... the gauge ding line will move to the correct position right on the gauge meter to help you judge where to hit the ball in cross-winds, and automatically adjust the yards for that shot.

    PUTTER:

No more guessing how hard to put your ball! Feet markers are right on the putting gauge. When you type in the feet, the GPS will give you the actuate distance depending on the elevation and color markers to help you judge the breaks on the green. And how hard to put the ball (even on steep up and down elevations! It also has a button all 6 green-speeds that will adjust the feet right on the gauge depending on the green speed you are using.

    Questions:

    1. You say your average is so terrible because you've been testing this caddy. Can you provide proof of a good round (50's) using it. Video would be great.

    2. Does this caddy work on the New Version? There's no point buying anything for flash, since flash is basically gone.

    3. How much are you charging for this?

    4. What is your refund policy if it's not as accurate as you claim it is?

So I watched the video and I am impressed with what you have done. My questions are the same as those above. Will this be available as a download? For a cost? Will it work on the new version?

You seem to have the same problem that I have: ding inconsistency. Your average, then, is not a problem in evaluating your program since this is just a a shot calculator and not an auto-ding program.

By all means keep us informed as to your progress and plans.

I've been emailing Lexmark33 about this, and it turns out he didn't realize there was a new version of the game, or that flash is going away in a couple months, and this caddy, as he has it here, won't work after December.

I'm hoping he can figure out a way to get it to work with the new version, because some of the things he has in this caddy are pretty genius. Since you can't overlay markers on the meter in the NV, I'm not sure he'll be able to make the complete jump and offer everything this caddy does, but maybe (hopefully) he can figure something out.

    Hey Lex,

It's pretty impressive! It will surely help lots of debutants. Most of all, I admire your enthusiasm and passion for the game.

The only problem with WGT is, though, there's something called VEM. No matter how hard you try to gauge, calculate, calibrate, tweak whatever formula or method you're using, your shot will always be "randomized" by VEM, the system. So it's more like the game plays you rather than you play the game to exaggerate it a little. 😏 This is the conclusion I've drawn after playing it for about five years now. Now the good news is VEM works on both ways, for you and against you so it's pretty much a zero sum game after all.

If making those spreadsheets, tables or charts brings you a satisfaction, yeah why not, go ahead, good for you, but don't hold your breath believing it's gonna turn you out an outstanding player over night.

Nevertheless, once again, that's helluva piece of work, Lex. Cheers.

    Simon

    Well Simon,

To be honest, everything in life have a little VEM don't you think lol. All we can do is try to control that part that is not VEM, which is the larger percentage. And LEXMARK SMART CADDIE does that. It contain over a thousand macros and three thousand formulas to minimize the affects of VEM. Watch these three holes at Wolf Creek:

And you can't judge the Caddie by my average lol. I spent the last 6 years calibrating the gauge (trial-and-era shots) while playing. If you did that your level and average would suffer too. In fact considering my average, given how I have had to use the game to create the Caddie, I would say the gauge is genus! I should be a Pro or Master at this point lol.

    Dex000,

The LEXMARK SMART CADDIE is not connected to or controlled by the version of the game you are using. It fit on the screen underneath your game. However, If it does affect it, I will cross that bridge when I get there. The projections you make may or may not be valid....but thanks for the heads up.

if a person has already mapped their clubs/ball would you use those figures?  or use the WGT default distances?
