So...In our nightly group on Skype (about 14 of us were on) One of the guys proposed what I thought was a great question which lead to a pretty fun debate with all different thoughts and opinions ....So here goes ....

"If WGT allowed you to pick one "Single" club in your bag excluding your putter...That you  ALWAYS hit the ding with ( I mean 100% of the time) ....What club would you chose?"

Not as easy a question as you may think...I almost immediately reached for my 3 Iron....

     So ...Let the debate begin.............

I now feel after further thought that my 3.5 meter 64 degree wedge would move to the front of the line

56 degree wedge for me... Wedges are so accurate in this game, they should be up and down EVERY time. At 100 yards though, a slight miss can leave you with an ugly line on your putt. My thinking is that the farther out you are, the more variation. So why not get the ding on the one that will virtually guarantee you the bird, and possibly the eagle every time.

WGT doesn't have the one club I would choose. A hack like me shouldn't be able to hit a 1 iron but it is the one club in my bag that I hit well even when I can't hit anything else at all,

Probably the club I use the least, but also the club that is hardest to ding and most horribly unforgiving when you miss it. An auto ding 3-wood would make a great new golden calf.
