I am in a game in the Tokyo Room as I type this.  My opponent hit a really bad tee shot into the rough and apparently he left the game.  The problem is WGT is waiting for him to reconnect but it's now been about 15 minutes since he left.  If I ht cancel, I'm going to forfeit the game and he'll get the coins and that's not going to happen.

Any ideas on what else can be done?

Ticket sent to WGT at 11:00pm

Good thing I'm working on a project as I wait

45 minutes and now I'm done with my project.  I guess I'm going to leave the game app running and waiting while I call it a night.

Take a screen shot and quit. Send it to customer service. They should reimburse you any lost coins.

Such things can happen Cas57... thing to remember... if you can't afford to quit a game because your device locks up, then submit the issue to WGT to be reimbursed, then you are likely playing in a coin room too expensive for your bankroll.

There are some out there that may attempt to do this intentionally, but a lot of times, it can just be accidental.  It happens, just be glad you didn't spend credits and have it happen during a showdown that impacted the outcome.

Submit the issue to customer support they will likely reimburse you.  Then give serious thought whether you can afford to play in Tokyo, it doesn't sound like you have the bankroll to handle the swings you would likely see in that room.

el3n1: could be a matter of principle rather than coins.

This does happen often in the coin rooms. When it happens to me and it appears a player has quit and the game is locked up I simply restart the app once. When it loads back up it gives me a continue match option. Once I continue it restarts the opponents 45 second clock automatically. If the player does not continue it automatically forfeits them. Now there has been times when I have done this the spinning wheel of death just continues to spin. When this happens I just screenshot it and report to CS.
