FWIW, here are a few numbers. Most of them are new, and I didn't bother to sort out the existing ones. Earlier references for 34 and 36 weren't correct, unfortunately.

By feeding all the numbers into a spreadsheet graph, I discovered these special features:

I'll call the difference from level to level "steps" and the increase in value of the steps "gradient".

First stage for beginners is up to lvl 25 (5290 XPs), with a small gradient in the steps (505 to lvl 25). From 27 till 75, steps grow by 100 per level, starting from 1000 to 5700 (the gradient is constantly 100 per step: 1100, 1200, 1300...). Here, all levels start with 15 as the last digits, 140215 for lvl 75.

Furtheron, the gradients of the steps stay below 5000 until level 90. From there on the steps increase quickly, until 220.000 towards lvl 97.

Here the numbers from lvl 14 to 76 (77 to 97 have been posted here already):

    renniw52:
Who the hell came up with this system?

It seems designed to equalize the position of early and late joiners.

For example, during the time it takes me to move from level 93 to level 94, a new player can zoom past level 70.

I would be interested to know more about the mathematical progression involved. At some point it seems to reach a kind of limit, in the sense that there must be some level at which achieving the next level would require the highest player to earn as many new points as it took to reach that level. Or, in practical terms, where it could take years to move to the next level. In the meantime, lots of beginners would be able to approach the level where the highest player is.

By the way, we seem to have everything covered here up to 97, but missing 96. Any higher level players have a LOT of time to think about supplementing the list before they reach that next level.

The XP number for L96 is somewhere in the thread: 1291355

The progression is about linear in the second derivative (1) (sp?), i.e. the XPs develop by power of three in a first assessment.

    (1) the figures from L90 on show an (interrupted) regularity:

    198270 (90 to 91)
    208270
    218270
    228270
    243270
    258270
    278270

Thanks, Infinito. Think we are missing 98 and 99 to cover the first 100 levels.

    Can anyone help?

    Zag
