  But still I find myself confused. The top player on this site has been a member since Jan. 2008. He has posted many times about the charity days. In another current thread it is stated that stroke play was introduced oct. 2008.

  I guess my question is this. How did you play this game before anyone else was allowed to, and why have you not played again until last month ?  Unless...........

  WGT used to run a site called the Charity Challenge .  It was 9 shots on Bali Hai, and it was the success of that game that spawned this version.  The Charity Challenge ended awhile back, for awhile this site was in closed Beta while the other site was still up and running.  When they finally closed the Charity Challenge game, they migrated all the accounts from that game over to this one, which is why you'll see that Tibbets joined in Jan 2008 when this game here didn't start until late 2008.

  Thanks for clearing up that point for me Tibbets.  An account has always been required to play on the WGT sites by the sounds of it, be it during the "charity days " or after.

  Brandi, all of the accounts were migrated over to this site, so there's really no way now of seeing what players existed then, other than by noticing the date a particular person joined, if it was before October 2008.

  I refer you to my original Charity Challenge account, I couldn't use it here because of the underscore (???) but notice the April 2008 signup date.
