Hitting out of brush

  Any suggestions on hitting successfully out of brush? Thank you.

  punch every time

  dont try and get greedy if you are quite a distance from the hole just play to get back on the fairway

  if you are near the green then by alls means punch out to go for the green

  Automatic. Plus, you're not going to get any kind of respectable carry and distance so make sure you redirect the aim into the closest part of the fairway to you.

  from fairway brush, I always use the punch shot

   

  heavy green side brush (60/70), I've always selected my shortest wedge (64deg) and hit a full shot and it gets the ball out and on to the green normally not far away from the hole. lighter brush, you can try and play a more finesse shot but try that wedge shot

  i'll try it because anything less than the 8 strokes i just played to get to the green has to be gr"8".  not ron805 but im ronruff01
