68 (ooops my bad) 67  is the number that I needed with enuff ranked rounds and you appear to have oodles to get to MASTER so sometime soon.

Below is a copy and paste from another thread. I believe this information is still accurate.

    • When your average score is equal or smaller than 100 you go from hack to amateur.
    • When it is equal or smaller than 80 you go from amateur to pro.
    • When it is equal or smaller than 72 you go from pro to tour pro
    • When it is equal or smaller than 67 you go from tour pro to Master
    • When it is equal or smaller than 63 you go from Master to Tour master
    • When it is equal or smaller than 61 you go from Tour master to legend

    and

    • you need to play at least 5 ranked rounds as hack before reaching Amateur
    • you need to play at least 10 ranked rounds as amateur before reaching Pro
    • you need to play at least 20 ranked rounds as Pro before reaching Tour pro
    • you need to play at least 25 ranked rounds as Tour pro before reaching Master
    • you need to play at least 40 ranked rounds as Master before reaching Tour Master
    • you need to play at least 50 ranked rounds as Tour Master before reaching Legend

You have enough ranked rounds, just need to get your average to below 67.

To be precise, it's exactly 67.00 or less.

And WGT calculates scoring average to 3 decimal places while only showing 2 of the 3.

    So 67.001 won't cut it. 67.000 will.

Ehm - excuse me, they aren't calculated in decimals but in binary ;)

Other than that, any proof to that limitation? I'd take it as granted that they use common computer number precision for their calculations, internally. Excel, for instance, uses 8 Bytes per number which results in more than 15 decimal digits resolution.

And, nitpickingly, 67.001 isn't achievable by a TP. His average of 25 scores (in saturation) may only differ by 1/25 which is 0.04. Thus possible averages are 67.04, 67.00, ...

Only Legends and up have to deal with the hidden third digit since their smallest variation in saturation is 1/500 = 0.002 or 1/200 = 0.005. Thus, their thresholds are 60.000 and 59.000 for L=>TL and TL=>C transitions respectively.

It is clear that this is not true. I have run into 50-60 players that are Tour Pros who have a 150 average which shows they have never played a ranked round.  How did they make it to Tour Pro without playing a ranked round?

Yes, I'd like to know this as well. That system cannot be correct...

If you play primarily (or exclusively) coin games and H2H matches, you will be promoted to Tour Pro at Level 50.  There may be other ways to get promoted as well.  If there are, WGT has kept those details a secret.
