ok all... maybe i just still dont get it, i was just looking at the scores in the leaderboard for the current bethpage front 9 stroke play for the pro tier and 4 of the top 5 are masters...i thought whatever you started a tourney at is where you stayed until it is over!

    am i missing something ?

If you score low enough to be moved up in tiers, you move immediately to the next tier. They will never play a pro tier tournament again!

It's beacuse they were still pros when they posted those scores. Even if they move up a tier after they play in a pro tourny, their scores will still count in that tournament. (It's even possible that the score they posted AS a pro in that tournament was low enough to move them up into the master tier.)

Wouldn't be very fair to anyone if they shot a great round in a tournament, then got DQ just because they moved up a tier.
