For everyone that watched the 2010 PGA championship you got to see half of Whistling Straits.  For those of you who do not know, Whistling Straights is a 36 hole facility (two 18 hole courses; the straits and the irish).  The pro's play the straits course because it can be made longer and it has more trouble (this also makes it the more popular of the two).  However the Irish course is just as dificult,  but just not as long (7200).  This summer I was asked to play a round at Whistling Straits, the straits course, with a couple college friends of mine.  We played the PGA championship tees and had a great time.  On our way out we were informed about a deal going on, after October 31st you can play the irish course for only $55 per person.  It was a deal we couldn't pass up, i'm teeing it up on the 11th.  For anyone who is within driving distance of Whistling Straits, I recomend you check into this.
