  "My Way" & "Its the end of the world" both sound like excellent picks....but as Scotts audio player does not work for me anymore after i heard it just a few times...maybe this?

  Unchained Melody is a great choice.

  Scott's intro could work for any I-vi-IV-V chord progression (typically G-Em-C-D) which was a staple for so many '50s and early '60s songs.

  Went back for another listen and got an error message...but going from memory, might be the intro to Every Breath You Take by the Police.

  Damn, I know this song, but cant quite put a finger on it.  The tune is right after it gets into the song but not the intro.  My guess is Can't Help Falling In Love.  Maybe by Elvis.
