My son and I are both extreme duffers.  I played a fair amount years ago but it has been twenty years.  We are going to Hilton Head in 2 weeks and would like to play a round at a basic gold course...nothing fancy, just a place to go and have some father and son fun.

    Any recommendations?

    RD,

Hilton Head area is one of the true great golf "mecca's" and you and your son should have a great time with many choices.

Have fun and the list below should give you a good idea on what to expect:

    Thanks SM,

Would you have a recommendation which of the public courses  might cater to the more "casual" golfer.  Let's say the "Average Joe's" of courses!

Sorry RD, I took a long time to answer your question...I forgot to check the post after I posted it.

    Anyway, this is my answer:

    RoseHill

    Yancy,

I have been on golf trips with "the guys" probably close to 10 times.

The best place for amazing courses and great deals was Myrtle Beach. We stayed in a really nice condo and had green fee's and carts for 5 different courses and it was cheap ! You can find some great golf vacation deals there.

If the original post was referring to Paris, of the Hilton ilk, can he therefore confirm to the house that there is actually ANYTHING inside that head?

That may indeed be a job for the Yancy crew...paranormal activity abounds.
