Your scoring avg is a compiliation of the your last 12 or 14 scores posted, with the latest three having weighted more so than the rest. If you shot par twice over nine holes which you have, it certainly will go up, as you were a low 71 avg or lower. Not sure what it was before, just what I have saw it is now. Good luck in the future and enjoy the game, to many people worry over their avg score here, hence all the quitters!

Your avg is figured from the best 10 of your last 14 rounds, with the last 3 weighted heavier.

For an example ( not accurate, but just an illustration)

     Say your last 14 were   66,65, 65, 73, 71, 68, 70, 72, 69, 70,68, 69, 70, 71 ...

your 4 highest rounds are tossed out and the avg is figured from the remaining 10... once  now you shoot 2 even par rounds of 72, so now your last 14  rounds are:

65,73, 71,68,70,72,69,70,68,69,70,71,72,72  .... while those 2 par rounds get tossed out you also pushed a 66 & 65 round out of the equation, which would make the avg go up.

I'm not sure that the latest 3 are weighted more heavily anymore after an update around a month ago.  I remember after the update shooting a few crappy scores in a row and my average was doing down despite bumping off lower scores.  Probably to make it harder for people to shoot an intentionally bad score to up their average.

If the 2 36's you show are what you're talking about then it should have gone up from your 71 average-you shot a 72!
