My take:
Below 30% sand, play any iron but expect a certain discount on length.
30%: take a wedge, aim for 70 yds and less, and enjoy your medicine.
More than 30%: Same thing but less length. Aim to the short fairway.

With the Starter wedges you have installed, response may be weaker.
