  Is there a formula or guide of how to adjust your shot yardage for height or below footage relative to the shot point? example: 167 yds to cup but 35 ft above your launch point and then reversed to 35 ' below launch point?

  Quick and dirty method is to divide elevation change (ft) by 3.
  Then add that to your yardage for a higher elevation and subtract for a lower one. 
  So in your example, 35ft / 3 = 11.6yrds.
  35’ up = 167yrds + 11.6 = 178.6yrds   
  35’ down = 167yrds - 11.6 = 155.3yrds 

  Just be careful and watch for the occasional times that the elevation change is shown in INCHES as calculating an elevation change of 24” as 24’ will throw your yardage way off!

  Same as MarchieB, but for simplicity I round up for uphill and round down for downhill. 

  In your example 35' up is + 12 yards

  and 35' down is - 11 yards.

  These calculations are solely for approximation of distance based on elevation. Whether you use top spin, back spin or no spin, the actual distance remains the same. 

  For real world results, best to go to Wolf Creek for a practice round and use the mulligan button a few hundred times. Chart your findings for future use.
