  I'm sure this has been addressed in the past ...just wondering if any changes atre happening?

  When a player hits into the water, the drop place makes no sense. 

  Why not choices of where to drop that follow PGA rules?

  Various reasons...

  First of all, it would require WGT extra programming to enable the option.

  Secondly, it might also complicate things (possibly cause deadly crash bugs) as players would be able to drop the ball where WGT cannot provide views for. (Remember they only have a limited number of photos of the golf courses available in the game?)

  Third, adding this option to the game is of no benefit to the company's revenue whatsoever.

  My conclusion : It won't happen.

  Above all, it follows WGT's general in-game rule:

  "Thou Shalt Not Have A Choice!"

  (apart from club selection, with only one exception AFAIR: The Mulligan!)
