    Well, with the surprising exit of Belgium and Germany, it looks even more like France or England has a good shot at the brass ring.

    Time will tell..:)

    OK...England has been eliminated by France (defending champions).

    With the teams remaining, I'm going to throw my support behind Morocco. Mainly for two reasons;

    1. Morocco is the heavy underdog of the remaining teams; and

    2. Their goaltender was born in Canada (Montreal)

    What an astounding "nobody" right there!

    Maybe we'll be seeing him more often in the near future... in NBA! LOL

    England players adopt stray cat they found at Qatar training camp and will bring Dave home .

    He will head to a local veterinary clinic for blood tests and vaccinations before heading into quarantine for four months..

    But can he take penalties like Harry Kane .

    OK then, it's down to two teams. Given Argentina hasn't won since 1986 and France is the defending champions, I will throw my support behind Lionel Messi and da boyz.

    As an aside, this is supposedly Messi's final world cup. He, along with Ronaldo, will be missed.

    ...it should be a good game.

    Me too, I'll be rooting for la Albiceleste. I hope it would be a happy ending story for Lio now with only one match left to put the last (and the biggest) piece missing in his career, one of the all-time greatest.

    Time to bet on France it seems. Canada, England and Morocco all give testament to what your support does ;-)
