Paul I think you started out trying to be helpful and were later defensive in a way that could be read to be aggressive.
I also think you need to realise that not all CC's have the same, or even remotely similar, ways of operating.

My CC has no "recruits", this is likely to be as they can't join.
There are no tournaments.
The CC forum is not used.
That is all very much to the liking of those of us that are there. I suppose it is true that the CC is not active but most of the members are. We have out shot and putter pal, for those of us that use both of them, and can all do our own thing. We certainly don't need help.
If you want to do this why not post on the owner's wall offering to help if any is wanted. I wouldn't advise trying Dazza's wall though :-)
