  Why Do Mirrors Flip You Sideways But Not Upside-Down?

  I spent ages inside my head working this out sat while getting my haircut once. Fun problem..

  Because we have left and right eyes as opposed to top and bottom eyes. Simple..

  Close one eye. Now what happens .

  My god, everything is upside down .

  An explanation, or rather an experiment: put a paper bag over one hand..

  Wave.

   It's the same (bag) hand moving in the reflection - and it's on the same side (left or right) of you as your actual hand..

  Step towards or away from the mirror, reflection .

  The eye sees is what bounces off the surface. Look left, see what's on the left. Look right, see what's to your right. Look up, see what's above you, not below..

  Something I taught children.

  Take a piece of paper, write the word CHOICE, as you see it here..........

  Choose any other word, i'm waiting.......... WISDOM, ok

  Now you should have a piece of paper with the word CHOICE on top & WISDOM under it.

  Go to a mirror, while holding it towards you to read it, flip it, top to bottom while facing the mirror.

  Now it the mirror, you're finding out the POWER OF CHOICE.............

  Not even a mirror can mess it up. However, look at WISDOM. It is not correct like CHOICE is.

  That folks is how you teach a 5 year-old how to understand Choices in life. No-one is going to make all the right choices in life. It is how we overcome the bad ones that make us who we are

  If you've learned something from this, then you're a bit closer to wisdom, with a child of understanding...following you
